Wiped Out over 40 years of unemployment

Today we wiped out over 40 years of unemployment within our Non Sector Specific Academy 6. The group came together and graduated along with our other Academies at the David Lloyd in Renfrew.

The 7 candidates began the course over 5 weeks ago attending KDS training for 3 days a week, at the end of the course work placements were offered. The candidates were involved in intensive training throughout the 5 weeks covering a Steps to Excellence programme along with the mandatory skills required in the workplace such as Manual Handling, First Aid and Health and Safety.

Angela and Trevor achieved full time employment after impressing their work placement employers so much with Michael and Michelle gaining full time employment whilst still on the course. Congratulations to you all, good luck with your employment and remember it does not stop here...
