What Stevie Did Next 2011
Monday
On Monday, the Renfrewshire Employer Support Seasonal Gardeners Academy will begin. As part of his contract with KDS Training, Stevie will be delivering all day. This will be the candidates’ first experience of training with the KDS Group and they will soon learn that this is a training course with a difference. Of course, the best way therefore to get this message across is by having Stevie present, as he epitomises the definition of “unique”. The day will consist of the candidates exploring their characters and discovering who they really are. Stevie will also be motivating his audience and getting them psyched up for the rest of the course.
Tuesday
On Tuesday, Stevie will be visiting a charity called C.A.R.I.N.G (Children At Risk In Need Of Guidance). The charity is based in Renfrewshire and works with young people who may be in the care of other relatives other than their parents, or who have been affected by drug and alcohol misuse. Stevie is sponsoring the charity so that funding can be provided to buy a mini-bus.
Wednesday
Wednesday will see the Youth Programme commence. This is the first time KDS Training have undertaken a course for young people on such a large scale. The course will last 16 weeks and will completely transform the young peoples’ lives on the course. Whilst they are on the Academy, candidates will challenge their outlooks on life and discover what strengths they possess that they could offer to an employer. Stevie will act as a role model during the course, inspiring the youths and demonstrating to them what can be achieved with hard work and perseverance.
Thursday
On Thursday, Stevie will be shadowing staff within a company that he will be working in partnership with to provide motivational training. The reason for the shadowing is for Stevie to get an unbiased and real feel for how the business operates so that he can tailor the package to meet their exact needs.
Friday
On Friday, Stevie will be busy within the KDS Group with internal meetings, particularly with staff mentoring. Stevie ensures that his aims and goals for KDS are aligned with his employees, so that everyone understands where our focuses lie; with KDS being such a faced-paced environment, such communication is vital. Stevie is always looking for and implementing the best strategies, and his mentoring sessions allow staff the chance to replicate such method in their jobs, maximising the company’s potential growth.
