Week 4: Because you’re worth it!
One month into the journey and what a difference we are seeing in both Liz and Martin and we are seeing dynamic changes within their relationships with their family. This week we have seen Liz turn a bad period within her day into a positive learning experience and major motivational drive! (There is a swimming instructor somewhere eating a HUGE slice of humble pie as she spectacularly proved him wrong!) Martin & Karen have celebrated their anniversary with a lovely meal out and have made big changes in the time they spend with their young daughter! Martin is enjoying much more the time he is spending with her on his own!
Week fours session was a surprise to them both, we welcomed back Lesley from LK Beauty, who provided shoulder and head massage! Re-enforcing the message of the importance of taking time to yourself and properly relaxing! “Because you’re worth it” is a hugely important lesson, one that we should all learn! They both thoroughly enjoyed the experience and enjoyed a fantastic sleep that night and do agree that spending time with, and on, themselves is worth it!!
The other half of the session gave them a chance to individually work with Stevie and really focus on an aspect of their lives that they were continuing to develop! The realisation of how far they had come, how much they were taking for granted in other people’s thinking and the realisation that they were unknowingly passing on behaviours, thought processes and language patterns to their children was a steep learning curve for both of them. Both have made significant changes to how they are communicating and behaving around their kids!
This week also saw Liz and Karen, Martin’s wife; agree to team up to support each other with their fitness and weight loss! We will keep you posted on how that goes! Both Liz and Martin are feeling the benefits of the products that Stevie has given them to use on their skins, this combined with the healthier eating, reduction in stress and anger and new coping strategies is showing in their faces! Both were looking visibly younger and Liz has had her hair cut and coloured!
“Because you’re worth it!” seems something that everyone finds difficult to accept but Martin and Liz are showing us that it really is true!
