Trust, Honesty, Partnership and Respect

Earlier this year Stevie was asked by the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce to provide business mentoring sessions to a group of local business owners and senior managers.

The third and final of these sessions was held this morning on the topic of ‘Building Unstoppable Teams’. Stevie spoke with the group about the importance of creating the right culture within a business and how in order to get the absolute most out of your team you must treat them with respect and compassion and have a genuine interest in their wellbeing.

The main learning point from the session was that it is essential to maintain a high level of communication with every staff member and that true leadership requires this to be on the agenda at all times. If you want your team to produce the results you desire they must feel valued and supported by their leader.

Stevie’s passion is people and the vision he had when he formed KDS was to create an environment that encompassed all of his values and beliefs and that there would be trust, honesty, partnership and respect amongst his team. Stevie has achieved this within all divisions of his 2 companies and that is the reason that Stevie has no ‘people pain’ within his organisation as it continues to grow and develop.

loved the phrase no ''people pain''. Most conventional managers would say ''people pain'' is an enormous stress factor in their operation/business. If you can eradicate it and use that the energy more positively how more efficient might these businesses be.
