The Recruit - The after effect!
The Recruit was a massive success for all involved, especially the young people who participated. The event made a phenomenal impression on participants and their accompanying staff, and the feedback received in person, by email, social networking sites and by word of mouth showed that the KDS team are unique in their approach and constantly strive to achieve the grade above excellence.
Determind, driven and hungry to succeed several of the participants have approached KDS requesting one-to-one mentoring sessions with Stevie Kidd to build on the foundations that were laid during the two day process. Stevie has given up his own time to continue working with these young people as he is passionate about working with, developing and changing the mindsets of the next generation to ensure that they are given the tools to meet their goals and achieve their full potential in life.
“I am passionate about helping the youth of this country which is why I had absolutely no hesitation in giving up my time to continue working with these young people.” said Stevie.
Feedback from those who have attended one-to-one sessions with Stevie so far show that his unique approach has given them an insight into themselves, their life choices and their strategies for the future.
“ I want to be remembered for what I have achieved and now I know how to about getting the job I really want, the importance of relationships and making a good impression by shaking hands, staying focused and talking to myself positively. I feel much more confident in approaching people and asking for help or information” said one candidate
A unique approach, a phenomenal result! The journey will continue for Stevie, his team and the Recruit candidates for a long time to come!

Hope you don''t mind, Kate, but I used this article in my Uni essay about positive effects of social networking for young people. Thanks again for everything over the last few weeks and hope we get the chance to work together again.
