The Magnificient Eight
The Magnificent Eight in Edinburgh’s Positive Transitions Academy, delivered in partnership with A4E, are finishing their 1st week with a bang! Four interviews booked in for next week for real jobs with positive destinations and one of our team just got offered Employment! Congratulations Peter!!!
In total we have over 18 years of unemployment in our Academy that we intend to eradicate. Our new Employment Engagement officer, Rob, is working with new and existing employer contacts and his hard work is paying off. All candidates are happier with their CV’s, are feeling more positive about their future and the opportunities that are open to them.
This transition in only 5 days of focus has shown just what can be done. We’ve covered how positive attitudes affect not only ourselves but the others in our lives. We’re challenging our thought process and our reactions to life’s challenges. We’ve looked at Application Forms and how easy these can become with a bit of strategy. The team has bonded and are determined to break through the limitations we thought we had!
Bring on next week!
