Sunshine in the Capital!

15 strangers started out on a voyage of discovery in the mad journey we call life! Almost two weeks into the course we are now a notable force. The changes in us have been noticed by us, by KDS Training team and by A4e staff in the building and we appreciate the positive feedback.

From a group of 15 re-active, apprehensive and a little bit suspicious individuals we have now become a dynamic, more confident and focused unit. We have elevated our communication skills to an all time high. We are calmer and more determined than ever to succeed and meet our own goals! We have shown a lot of courage to talk about the barriers that are holding us back and to address these head on. We recognise that we are a knowledgeable group with a lot to offer an employer and are more relaxed and calmer – a point which has not gone unnoticed by our families.

We have had a lot of information to take on board and a lot of thinking has been done on our values, goals, our futures and who we are and where we want to be! We are motivated and inspired to achieve the changes that we want and we are putting the strategies in place to do this! We are younger looking, smiling, laughing and enjoying learning for the first time in a long time!

We are spreading the changes (and smiles!) to the people who we meet! We are seeing it all come together and were DELIGHTED today to find out that two of the FANTASTIC 15 have got jobs!!! When the shout of “LET’S DO THIS” is being heard round the building we know

WE ARE DOING IT

and

WE WILL KEEP DOING IT!!
