Stevie Creates an Instant Reaction!

On Friday Stevie delivered the second of his motivational training sessions to a 4 star hotel group. His unique, high energy approach to training has certainly caused a stir throughout the company! 

We are conducting a post training survey and we will be revealing the results when they are all in. However, we do not need the survey results to know that Stevie’s delivery has caused an instant reaction.

When Stevie finished the session on Friday he received some texts, emails and messages on his social media sites from participants saying that they had started to make changes in their lives – 1 hour after the training had taken place!

During his delivery Stevie spoke about attitudes and behaviours and discussed the correlation between home life and business life. He also focussed on customer service and how every individual has accountability for this key factor within their role.

The next phase is to provide the Chairman with a full recommendation report as we are in discussions for Stevie to go in and act as a business consultant for the chain.

The session was also an opportunity for Sarahjane to shadow Stevie, Sarahjane has seen Stevie deliver to other KDS employees and on KDS Training academies but this was the first opportunity for her to see firsthand how Stevie motivates and inspires wherever he goes.

This was Sarahjane’s account of the day:

“Inspirational. Unique. Motivational... I have heard all the above terms used to describe the innovation which is the KDS Group and Stevie Kidd countless times before, however today I heard them spoken by a senior management team of a hotel chain, after they had just experienced a full day’s session with Stevie, who was delivering motivational training.

This was the second session which I was witnessing, as Stevie had delivered another hotel under the same chain the week before, and the effects were incredible! The whole process of the training itself though, had long since been underway, for Stevie spent time shadowing various members of each of the different departments in the organisation so that he could fully understand the dynamics of both organisations. This enhanced the quality of the service that Stevie was providing, and the results were transparent: Stevie effectively delivered exceptional training tailored to the employee’s requirements, which not only equipped them with the necessary skills needed for their roles, it also motivated them to always want to be giving their best in order to achieve top results.

I particularly enjoyed seeing the progressive change in the attitudes of those involved, individuals bearing tentative handshakes in the morning were confidently approaching Stevie at the end of the day, thanking him for his time and explaining what they intended on doing differently in future.

The experience was definitely a learning curve for me and really reinforced how unique an environment KDS is. Five months ago, I became a part of the KDS Group with no previous experience in business, and no prior knowledge as to how they function. I have always been able to appreciate that the atmosphere Stevie has created is infectiously motivating, and today gave others the chance to replicate this approach in their working environments too.”

What an experience it will have been for all those who took part in the training! I know that everyone will be thinking differently and looking at things differently as a result! Am looking forward to hearing the next stage of this journey and all the changes that have been made as a result - to the individuals and the company! K
