Stevie calls into Fife Academy

Yesterday Stevie made a telephone call into Fife Academy that left the candidates in a state of disbelief! 

Normally Stevie would be present at every Open Day and Day 1 of a new KDS Training academy but due to him being in Brighton and attending a meeting on taking KLDS global he was unable to attend either of these days. This meant that group had never experienced the phenomenon that is Stevie Kidd!

The telephone call was explosive with Stevie talking non-stop for 32 minutes – anyone who has experienced this will know the effect that this has! Stevie spoke about lots of experiences all of which had a meaning for the academy.

After the call it was KDS Trainer, Roger McGeachin’s job to bring the group back down to earth and make some sense of what had happened. Roger explained to the group that it was important that they didn’t get too caught up in the stories but looked at the meaning behind them.

He asked the group to take a write down what they as individuals had taken from Stevie call, here are some of the responses:

“With the right mind-set I can do anything”

“The importance of building relationships and grabbing opportunities whenever they arise”

“How lucky I am as there are so many people worse off than me”

“I now feel like I can achieve more than I thought I could this morning!”

“An amazing, ambitious and driven man”

What is most profound from this experience is that it doesn’t matter in what way Stevie communicates with people he has the same effect. This was a group of people who had never met Stevie before but who were left completely inspired and motivated by a telephone call.
