Smile-It makes people wonder what you are up to!

Anyone who knows me well knows I use this phrase a lot, but there is more than an element of truth in it! One smile, it seems, has benefits that are far reaching for ourselves and for others and it appears could save us a fortune into the bargain!

A smile:

• Releases feel good endorphins and raise serotonin levels which make you, and the receiver, happier (and have fewer calories than chocolate!),

• Improves the circulation to your face (a glowing complexion at no extra cost!)

• Makes you feel good about yourself, increases your self confidence and how confident you appear to the outside world! A full genuine smile exudes confidence!

• Is one of the main stays of human communication – it conveys moods, states of mind, suggestions and approval. (The art of speaking without saying a word!)

• Makes you appear younger. Did you know younger people smile more than older people? So knock 10 years off yourself by smiling! (well it’s cheaper than botox!)

• Is contagious – your smile changes the mood of others and makes the room a happier place! Smile lots and you will draw lots of people to you! (Well you can never know too many people!)

• Boosts your immune system and lowers your blood pressure! (Keeps away those winter colds and flu’s!!)

• Reminds us to find Something Magical In Living Everyday. Sometimes we are going so fast we miss the moments that should be making us smile – the compliment you don’t expect, your child doing something cute, that persons company you had forgotten you enjoyed so much!

Oh and one last reason–

• You never know who's falling in love with your smile.

So starting now, for the good of your health, relationships and confidence levels make it a habit to- SMILE!!

Brilliant this made me smile, especially the look younger part, I will be smiling all day tomorrow now..
