Seasonal Gardeners Graduation

Monday 25th February. This date has been what all the successful 34 candidates from KDS Training’s three Seasonal Gardener’s Academies have been focussed on since completing the course. This is the date that they start their new roles across Renfrewshire. From parks & gardens, to streets & town landscapes, they will now be employed across the region to deliver a vital service to Renfrewshire residents.

The most successful recruitment campaign ever completed by Environmental Services department of Renfrewshire council, in partnership with Renfrewshire Workforce +, KDS Training & Renfrewshire Employer Support Services, this has been a milestone marker for the local authority and KDS Training. Over 50 years of unemployment is now wiped out as the candidates start this coming Monday, and it’s the start of a new journey for those who’s success was acknowledged and celebrated today at the Graduation Ceremony.
