Scottish Finance Minister Visits KDS Offices
We were delighted today to welcome John Swinney, cabinet secretary for finance and sustainable growth in Scotland, along with Renfrewshire Council Leader, Councillor for Renfrew North and SNP election candidate Derek Mackay to our KDS offices today.
The purpose of the visit was for the Minister to meet with key KDS staff and see our unique training academies in action.
As usual KDS inspired with their passion and their valuable contribution to supporting a strong and sustained economic recovery, and the important role we play in delivering some of Scotland’s key services in the fields of employability and Social Care along with providing innovative solutions to some of the greatest challenges facing Scotland today.
As we waved goodbye to the Minister, I reflected that his visit had shone rather a positive light on the workings and successes of the KDS Group and that policies are being discussed across the Scottish Government and across various Government Departments and that important local issues are being acknowledged by Mr. Swinney and his cabinet colleagues.
