Renfrewshire Care Academy receive a visit from Mochridhe Care
KDS are continually building partnerships and relationships with employers and have built up a fantastic relationship with Mochridhe Care. Today our Renfrewshire Care Academy got to meet with Debbie Reilly, Service Manager of Mochridhe Care. The visit was to allow our candidates the opportunity to learn about the different care services and also to make that impression with a potential employer.
Debbie shared with us her valuable background experience in care along with the aims and mission of Mochridhe care. She spent time going over the role of a support worker in great detail – all necessary knowledge required when entering the care sector. There was a question and answering session from the candidates to clear any queries or concerns and the opportunity of application forms for individuals to apply. All was essential information breaking down barriers for candidates and opening a few doors.
We would like to thank KDS Training Manager – Stevie Hunter for setting this up and also to Debbie for taking the time to come in and speak with us.

What a great visit and information session for the candidates to have on the course, a lot of questions answered and always better for bringing out the reality.

It is always great to have employer support on these Academies and all of the candidates get a lot from it - hearing it from someone working in the sector makes their learning more complete! K
