Reflection

The last 36 hours in Stevie’s world have been pretty crazy – but there’s nothing new there!

The activity over these hours is a great example of how Stevie approaches every day and how he achieves the results that he does.

Here’s a breakdown of just some of the activity.

31/08/2011

6am - Day starts with a personal training session; Stevie credits his mental agility to these sessions.
9am – 12noon – meeting with Chairman of the business that Stevie is a consultant. This was a mentoring session and a strategy discussion.
1pm – Partnership meeting with the Bank. Stevie was speaking with his Relationship Manager and the Director of Commercial Banking. They were discussing what more the bank could do and how the partnership could be stronger.
2pm – Internal strategy meetings before leaving the office to collect his son Ryan.
4pm – Leave office to get train to York for major meeting.
11pm – Working with a homeless family on the streets of York, yes you did read that right!

6am – Back up and preparing for the meeting ahead.
8am – Breakfast meeting with my Director of Training
9am – Meeting with Partnership Director of a major organisation. The outcome of the meeting was that we agreed to run a pilot, taking KDS Training to another new area of the country – the Midlands.
12.15pm - Back on the train to Glasgow
4pm - Family meal for Ryan’s birthday.

The meeting that Stevie was at this morning started in a pretty unique way the opening line was “Let’s just cut to the chase – let’s run a pilot”. There has been much build up to this meeting and the Director knew most of what he needed to. He also told Stevie that he was the most passionate person he had ever met.

The above demonstrates Stevie’s passion and drive; he doesn’t simply just go off to a meeting there is so much activity surrounding it. It also displays perfectly how he gets the work / life balance just right.

We’re delighted to get this opportunity and it’s another huge step on the KDS journey.
