Daily Blog in the world of our new KDS Trainer - Day One

Today was the beginning of a new week with a new trainer for the guys as Katie is taking over for a week while Ali is on holiday...it was interesting to see the difference in training styles and although i felt a bit of apprehension from the group initially, they adapted to Katie really well! It got me thinking about my own approach and style and how I would fit in to the training team, and while watching Kate deliver I actually started to think “how would I have said that?”, “what example would I have used there?”,etc. Being the control freak that I am I need to have all of that prepared before I actually get up there and take the floor! Stevie unexpectedly popped in to see the Academy today and had around a half hour session with them...he talked about his journey and the feedback from the guys said that this got them thinking about the different ways in which they could achieve their own goals...STRATEGY was the word of the day!! The mood in the room completely changed once Stevie had been in, with the motivation and inspiration through the roof! This will stand us in good stead for tomorrow when Debbie from Mochriede care services comes in to see the group to discuss employment opportunities.
