Positive Outcomes I Never Anticipated
After Stevie’s mentoring, it’s almost second-nature for me now that when I am given a task which initially makes me nervous, I picture the best possible outcome and keep the image locked in my head so that I stay motivated. However, on this occasion, the best possible image I had was only the beginning...
KDS are very excited to be welcoming Douglas Alexander into the offices this week. This came about after Lorraine had asked me to help produce a pack which I then sent over to Douglas, describing all the unique work we do and inviting him to the offices to witness this for himself. He has now taken us up on this offer, and will be meeting the KDS Group on Friday.
Douglas will have access to all the KDS staff who are eager to inform him of all of the exciting projects KDS are undergoing. In addition to this however, Stevie has given Lynsey and I the fantastic opportunity to tell him all about our journey by delivering a presentation to him.
This just proves that you never know which doors are going to opened as a result of your actions.
I had believed the best outcome would be for Douglas Alexander to visit, I never considered that I would be presenting to him! I am very much looking forward to meeting him, and am up for the challenge of representing KDS alongside Lynsey.

What an achievement for you both! Did either of you think 6 months ago that you would be in this position now?? You will both be fantastic on Friday, sorry I will miss it but I look forward to the update on how it goes!! Keep Smiling! K
