Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm!
Team Edinburgh Kicked off with First Aid and learning how to buy that little bit of extra time until the medical services are in attendance was a fantastic start to the week! Naturals at their casualty care and bandaging techniques the day flew past!
Tuesday saw Tommy and Michelle as part of the team when they covered giving CV’s the WOW factor and also the importance of route planning! (some of us still need a bit more practice at that one – won’t mention any names!!lol) Huge thanks to Tommy and Michelle for the input, Team Edinburgh loved the day and you are welcome back anytime!
Wednesday was Mind over Matter at David Lloyd in Leith! Great things certainly were achieved as all of the Team were pushed to their limits physically and emotionally and proved the points that Together Everyone Achieves More, exercise does make you feel great and you can do always take yourself to a level you never thought that you could!! The quote of the day being “I didn’t plan to do that much but I feel fantastic now I have done it”
Thursday saw Stevie Kidd in attendance having been invited through for a one day session on Personal Enhancement! You could see the light bulbs coming on all over the room as they took in what messages and learnings Stevie was putting across in an exciting, exuberant and action packed way! Lots to think about after that session and lots of thinking was done over Thursday night! We listed the changes we have been making and are now going to make to our thinking, planning, behaviour, relationships and futures! (we don’t have the space on this blog to fill you in on them all!)
On top of ALL that we managed to fit in job searching, filming, discussions, continued on the Johari Windows, developed some new activities, addressed fears that were holding us back, wished one Academy well starting and wished one Academy well graduating, created some excellent impressions on visitors to the Academy and impressed A4e with the changes!
With bucket loads of enthusiasm Team Edinburgh have indeed achieved great things this week and are still laughing, learning and smiling!! Let’s see what week 4 brings!!
