My visit to westminister
On Tuesday 20th Jan, I was invited along to the House of Commons by Brake the road safety charity for the parliamentarian road safety awards.
The event is aimed at rewarding MPs. MPs can help communities to fight for vital road safety measures such as crossings outside schools and lower speed limits. Thanks to sponsorship from RBS, Brake gives monthly and annual awards to MPs to highlight their efforts to save lives in the communities they represent.
The event allowed myself to network with other individuals who are passionate about road safety. I was keen to promote KDS’s message and our aims for the year ahead. I am now in the process of developing the imagery for our new road safety vehicle.
