My first day as an employee at the KDS Group

“At every point through the interview process up until today, one thing has been constant – KDS Group is about people. Everyone has taken time to say hello, to shake my hand and to make me feel welcome. The induction day started with a chat about the group, it was planned out flexible enough to allow for over running (not a bad thing when I ask a lot of questions).
An hour of Stevie Kidd’s time was the first starting point and what a way to start. He’s got a vision, you can jump on board, or move out the way because its unstoppable.
Having a relaxed induction day meant feeling less nervous and I certainly felt able to relax and be my usual self rather than nervously being on trial. The whole office were warm and friendly, offering coffee and good chat – I’m feeling part of the team already.
We met Tommy, who runs the Distribution side of the group, a really thorough insight into the wider business. This naturally led onto the Group wide passion for Road Safety and the association with Brake Charity. The training side of the company was best covered through listening to the people it has most affected. The people who attend each training academy and their personal testimony showed that it works and is a unique format.
To summarise, day one has been great, informative and well structured. I cant wait for tomorrow. Working of the KDS Group will be a challenge but an exciting one”.
