Message to Academy 27

As graduation is upon us we reflect on what we have learned so far. This last 4 weeks has been emotional, challenging, gripping, draining and energetic and sometimes this has been all at the same time! We have seen a few candidates fall by the wayside but the remainder of us have stayed strong.

At times we have faced challenges that have made it difficult to attend training, but we went in regardless of our feelings . This was partly down to the techniques we learned at KDS to help us overcome our barriers and face our fears head on. There were fun times too, Mind over Matter being a particular favourite, followed by Johari Window, Life coaching and all the Ice Breakers. It quickly became apparent to Academy 27 that this was not up for debate when asked to participate and how glad they are of this as each one of them has grown in confidence and gained more self belief as a result.

Environment, learning and attitude has helped us to grow in confidence and shift our mindset and I am proud to have led my Ac 27 team through some emotional battles as look at what you have achieved as a result!

Your Personal growth has been a huge part of your success. Remember, improving who you are, your existence and future is important for all aspects of your life. Success will follow and with that you can all be proud of everything you have achieved as your life changed as you entered the Academy.

Take a picture in your mind tomorrow when you collect your certificate and remember the feeling! You did that – no one else.

Keep smiling, be determined and remain focussed.
