Mark McKirdy Returns With No Limitations and Becomes Creative

Stevie invited Mark in to the offices as he knew Stephen was in, he immediately sensed that they both will benefit from working with each other. Before this had even happened Mark when out on the road with Ross, one of our drivers to learn about another aspect of the business – Distribution and Customer service!
Stevie discussed at length while in the creative room; Manners, politeness, using the customer’s name on approach, closing the gate on the way back to vehicle, road safety, achieving high standards, raising self confidence. These are all attributes Mark says he has learned from during his mornings work experience. This is another valuable skill set that Mark will carry forward into his future!
As he returned to the office, the team explained that he will be working on a project with Stephen! However first, Mark decides to do his who am I in front of three different academies, a big achievement! You can see by group’s faces in the photos on Flickr that Mark has touched them all with the magical effect he has on everyone he meets!
This young lad has come on in leaps and bounds since his first meeting with Stevie. Mark then went into the creative room where he answered over 50 questions in rapid succession! With Edmund Mackay, Head of Care, and Stephen present, seeing what his likes and dislikes are, it is easy to determine his own personal learning style, which for him is based on information he has processed. Stevie even demonstrated how to go from good feeling to great feeling just by processing information!
The most important part of day for Mark was putting together a 4 week planner for the youth academy, similar to a wish list, “what would you want to do on an academy?” Stevie looked over it and said, “I am taken aback, as he and Stephen have put so much time and effort into it, a lot of practical over theory which showed within the questions Mark answered.” Where do we go next from here...
Well, Stevie had asked Mark to come back to him with the top three jobs he would want to do. Mark said to Stevie “Come and work for you, I want to do admin for the Training Company. I can step in and do the Who am I, raising peoples limitations...........................”
Mark, well done for your day today and thank you Stephen, for helping alongside him. This is yet another learning for the both of you..............

Marks idea for a road safety board game is good. Could we be looking at a future "Dragon"?

Monday was my first time meeting Mark and getting to work with him. He made a brilliant contribution to the project and some of his ideas were impressive. He was a great guy to work with and I hope I get to work with him again!
