Mark McKirdy - The next step in my KDS Journey
Today Mark was back in the KDS offices. A busy day today for Mark shadowing Managing Director, Stevie Kidd and working with all divisions within the group. Some of the topics covered today were nutrition, the importance of customer service, feelings, recalling memories and linking words. Here Mark tells about his day and Stevie discusses his views on Mark's journey to date...

Mark walks into the office and the whole place lights up with his smile. Great to see you again Mark and thank you for your help today and organising Deccy''s work rota for March. See you soon!!!!

It was fantastic to have Mark back in the office today and from the tasks that Lynsey and I were working with him on, we could see that he was really putting a lot of effort in!

Well done Mark, you are living proof that people with learning disabilities can be successful in their careers. Like most of us, people with disabilities simply have some skill areas that are better developed than others. They can achieve many things independently,
and like you Mark, when given appropriate support as needed, they can meet or exceed workplace expectations. Please take the time to learn ways to ensure that people with disabilities get the support they need at work.

Marks journey continues and i have to say every time Mark comes into the KDS offices he makes me smile with his wonderful can do attitude nad friendly, happy go lucky zest for life. Well done Mark your a star, keep up the good work.

Another brilliant day with mark in the office! Mark continues to bring a smile to the face of everyone who is in the office an ability he should never lose - a definite energiser!! Mark will go far in whichever career he chooses and continue to make himself
