Managing Director day
stevie kidd awakes each morning at 5-5:30am without the assistance of alarm, today is no different, he sleeps an average of 4 to 5 hours a day...................
As he gets ready he walks his german sheperd in the morning which focuses him for day ahead, while he walks the dog he may even listen auditory to antony Robbins, doing self development, he may also put installs onto twitter and facebook of his daily goals
today as he arrives at offices he sits initially on sofa just to intake all the activity whcih is a lot this morning, he then makes his rounds shaking all hands and absorbing the energy levels and sapping all this energy into himself as each day he realises what he has created in this KDS world.
As he gets to training room he cannot intrude as this is what makes KDS special a driver in getting his 5th of 6 session on life coaching, why because stevie kidd clocked one day he was slightly not his usaul self, as that session later completes he notices light bulb moment is coming back on with individual, before we go on, what or who other ceo or owner of businesses big or small does this, its a bit like we score people who join or workforce in life and workplace when they first start and then after 3 months we measure again and score rises by avaerage of 50 percent becuase owner of our business is interested in whole package in life.
As I set about departmental meetings standing and discussing we are enrgised as we know toda is special, this is where all planning goes into open day and we know each person that attends will leave with something, I am never nervous more anxious just to get and deliver, but more creative in looking at linkages in what we do and looking for improvements
I have discussion on distribution division offering mentoring even though it is not required, then move back to training division, I ask Rodger new emploability officer to lose the tie as we do not wear ties, I ask are you ready for roller coaster ride, I also offer advice to Rodger, I ask him the full story on an employee I seen him talking to, he gives me part of story then explain you have to be proactive to seek and understand everyone in team as 75 percent of staff come from academies, he understands the concept.
As my team leave I host a meeting with a customer, for 60 minutes we have a fruitful meeting on a pilot and next steps, we depart and walk together as I go to work, I will leave what happens next to my team as I know they are going to list blogs and put up you tube link to visuale feedback, but it was good, changes a persons life who says she has been worthless for last 29 years and depressed but only raised four kids on her own, but not done much, what I did was explosive as light bulb and confidence went through the roof in 30 minutes.
Open day complete and back to office to assist with interveiws for academy as its now interveiws, I do two which were enlightenting for them and me, I spend time with a chap who was trying to take his life on Saturday night, I seen him sunday and after seeing him after open day as gher sat in I seen in front of my eyes the light bulb moment, he was back for now, we made calls to cement professional help, he will come back day 1 and mind over matter day, his journey began, now I have candidates asking me why are yiou doing all this, I say simply becuase I can..............
I end my day in total reflection as we finish by discussing my care home venture and my presentation in crowne plaza on april 20th, I am buzzing but notice when I get to jeep to head home about six I need my time and I sit in jeep and listen to my two favourite tracks to empower me to do more, I loved this time tonight, had family time and now going to garage after this to burn out in a training session, then watch a movie to wind me down and ready to go again tomorrow.......
