Making an Impact on the 2011 Recruits

This week saw the start of Stevie’s mentoring sessions with the 2011 Recruit’s.

It was an early start for Matthew who was asked to come in at 7am on Monday morning! Matthew was here bright and early (before most of the KDS staff!)

Next to meet with Stevie was Arran and then Emily. Scott was pushed to the limit in a session with a difference! Stevie and Scott trained at The Edge gym pushing through barriers.

The sessions have been a huge success with Stevie covering many areas including timelines, motivation, positive language patterns, being unique, focus and passion.

Some of the feedback we’ve had has been that Stevie is “inspirational”. Matthew said that the session really made him realise that he needs to focus on what happens after university.

And Emily posted the following on The Recruit 2011 facebook page:

“Today's mentoring session was a real eye-opener. It has made me realise what needs to be done in order to separate yourself from the other thousands of students doing the same routine. Just because everyone else follows a certain routine in life doesn't mean you have to follow and not receive the best outcome that your abilities can achieve. Focus is something I plan to do in order to get what I want.”

Such a great experience doing mentoring with Stevie - I know what it was like last year meeting this guy! I suggest all Recruits should take this opportunity - you may just be surprised!
