Laughing and Learning

Edinburgh have set the bar high after week one on the warehouse and logistics Academy! Week ones work on attitude, communication, personal presentation, what we have to offer an employer, looking into the sector and life coaching have all made a huge difference in how we are meeting and greeting others, how we are thinking and how we are interpreting situations! Heads are higher, faces brighter and younger, a pride in our appearance has taken over!(Loving the new hair Kevin and the lack of hat Gavin!)

“What did you think of Week one?” was the question asked on Friday afternoon.

“inspirational”

“great”

“wonderful”   (Yep, we also covered power language and language patterns on week one!)

Memories have been unlocked and we remembered what we had achieved in the past and what we enjoyed about situations. Everyone agreed that the foundations had been set and that we ain’t seen nothing yet on what they will achieve by the end of the Academy! Staff in the A4e building are all commenting favourably on the changes and stopping by to join in! What an impression the Academy are making as they shake hands with staff on entry in the morning!

What will week two hold for the fabulous fifteen in Edinburgh? More learning and laughing with Health and Safety, Customer Service, Road Safety and Mind over Matter and an even bigger focus on employability! In the words of Stevie Kidd himself - LET'S DO THIS!!  In the words of me - KEEP SMILING, KEEP POSITIVE and KEEP IT UP!!!!

Fantastic Kate, really am impressed with the fantastic 15 in Edinburgh.... Keep up the great work and open your minds to what is possible when you take away all your barriers.
