KDS Combined Graduation!

Two academies came together today to see the end of the courses with an unforgettable graduation ceremony. For Retail, the 4 week programme has provided them with the necessary skills to progress into a busy retail environment and for the non sector specific, a much needed stepping stone into employability. For both academies however, this has been an extraordinary journey of self belief and confidence where the future is now looking a lot brighter. Of course there have been ups and downs, with a few tears along the way but these challenges have been faced together as a team where everyone involved has gained the strength to progress forward as an individual. The change in everyone has been remarkable.
 

KDS continues to work in partnership with Renfrewshire Workforce Plus and Job Centre Plus, with the key to our success being these strong partnerships. The support from local employers is also undoubtedly vital, who have provided those on the course with a much needed opportunity.
 

Today may mark the end of both courses, but for every individual who has been a part of this process – the journey is only just beginning. It is now your chance to create your legacy and decide what you are going to be remembered for. Stay strong, stay motivated and remain focussed but most of all – keep on smiling!
