He Just Never Stops!
We always say this but it’s true – every week at Stevie Kidd People gets busier and busier!
Stevie’s diary is always full but next week is pretty unbelievable! We will be working on a diverse range of new and exciting projects which will lead to future business, we have been creating great partnerships over the last few months and we are now seeing the benefits of those.
This is how the week is looking:
Monday:
On Monday we have a board meeting, this is a time for strategic plans to be put in place and although there is discussion around today’s agenda it is very much focussed on the future and on growing the business in all areas. There will also be private mentoring sessions and internal mentoring and focus meeting throughout the day.
Tuesday:
Tuesday is devoted to the planning of a presentation that Stevie will be delivering on Friday. The presentation is to over 200 staff at Glasgow South West Regeneration Agency and the themes will be Adapting to Change, Behaviour of Excellence and Motivation. The event will be filmed and we have a meeting around the filming requirements and a site visit in the afternoon.
Wednesday:
Wednesday starts with internal mentoring for 2 members of staff. One of these will take place over the telephone as the staff member is working off site. One of Stevie’s values is to continually invest in his staff and he does this by holding weekly mentoring sessions. We then move on to a photo-shoot for a business magazine. The article that will be appearing in the magazine is based around partnerships and strong relationships. In the afternoon we will be heading for final stage discussions with a 4 star hotel group about Stevie working with them on a consultancy basis to grow the business and implement new strategies for business growth. The day will end by Stevie working with a Scottish Premier League footballer.
Thursday:
On Thursday Stevie will be delivering personal enhancement material to academy candidates who are going through our academy that we are delivering in partnership with A4E in Edinburgh. Stevie will deliver his unique style of motivational material and will work with the candidates on a number of topics.
Friday:
On Friday Stevie will deliver his presentation to the agency mentioned above and will then rush back to the office to welcome Douglas Alexander MP who is coming in to see the work that we do in Renfrewshire supporting his constituents into employment. It is apt that he is coming in on this day as in the morning we will be holding a graduation for 40 individuals for whom we have secured employment.
