Great Feedback for ILA Works Courses

Since the launch of our innovative ILA Works courses we are delighted that we have supported approx 420 people through our employability short courses. ILA Scotland is a Scottish Government scheme that helps you to pay for learning. The learning can be done at a time, place, pace and in a way that suits you. It’s for people who have an income of £22,000 a year or less, or who are on benefits. If you are 16 or over and living in Scotland, you could get up to £200 towards the cost of learning with a learner account from ILA Scotland.

These courses are taking candidates several steps nearer employment! An opportunity to refresh their interview skills, provide them with an up to date CV and various sector specific skills has led to numerous people successfully back into employment and has led to some great feedback, and to us being awarded course of the month by ILA, we wanted to take this opportunity to share that feeback with you!

completing each training session is extremely satisfying but to get feedback is fantastic and an extra bonus that verifies that we are making a difference in peoples lifes.

It is such a fantastic opportunity for everyone to get involved in the ILA courses - for the staff, it is always nice to hear that the courses have been enjoable and people have taken a lot from them. Looking forward to hearing about the next 400 people!

I have enjoyed speaking to all the candidates who have went through all 6 different ILA courses in Renfrewshire and its great to hear all the feedback and i''m sure it will continue.

I''''m not surprised at the positive feedback for the KDS ILA courses. These courses are phenomenal value for money with the additional benefit of engaging with a team of trainers who not only help develop employability skills but also personal enhancement through the attitude they instill in others; a winning mentality. Well done to everyone who has gained employment so far and good luck to the others who have gained the skills - it''''s only a matter of time.
