Future Focus:Breakfast with Stevie!
Week three has been another busy week for the young people from the Activities agreement programme who are attending the Future Focus Academy with KDS. Monday saw us continue the work they have been doing on their own Health and Wellbeing. A Drug and Alcohol awareness session was carried out in the centre which also tackled territorialism and tied in nicely with the work that has been carried out on attitudes and behaviours. A big thank you to Joanne McKay (Renfrewshire Youth Services) for carrying out the session.
Tuesday saw the team going for breakfast with Stevie Kidd, this tied in nicely with the topic of the day which was communication! Interaction with others, how they come across when they are speaking to other people, body language, word usage and language patterns were all covered and the group have a better awareness of how these things can have an impact on their futures! Thank you to Stevie for the opportunity and the Breakfast!
Big changes in just 3 weeks from this group of young people!

Hi guys Well in this three weeks I have seen positive changes in Confidence, attitude and abilities in gaining employment. Having spoken to young people they express they are more Self aware of their behaviour and the outcomes this can bring. The 1:1 with Stevie
is one of the only positive role models in one Young Mans life.(His own feedback) Once again Keep up the Great Work being done to Renfrewshire''s Positive Youth of Tomorrow

People decide on their own attitudes and feelings from watching themselves behave in various situations. this is a key example to do exactly this.
