Feedback from Gerry at A4e After Stephen's Visit

Stephen certainly made a huge impact upon his visit to A4e yesterday where he met Gerry Croall, National Director. It was clear on his return to the KDS offices that Stephen had throughly enjoyed his day, but what did Gerry think? Lets find out....

"He asked me the toughest questions I’ve been asked for a long time, and is the first person I can remember asking me about my personal as well as my professional life – it was like a breath of fresh air!! Stephen arrived before me and had shaken hands and introduced himself to all of the staff, explaining that he was here to shadow me today – great and extremely confident start to the day. He did his recorded interview with me which was excellent, and really had me on my toes.

Stephen then shadowed the NDDP and Refugee support team before he and I headed off to McDonald’s for a well earned lunch.

Thanks for the opportunity to help Stephen, it was a pleasure. He is quite an amazing and extremely capable young man and I hope he achieves all he deserves."

Proof that its a "hand up" and not "a hand out" that makes a difference

What an impact!! Partnerships should be like this. Fantastic that A4E made time and space for this part of Stephen''s own journey.
