Ex Academy Candidate, Kathryn Pays a Visit to Our Care Academy

Today our current care academy received a special visit from one of our ex academy candidates, Kathryn Denis.

Kathryn was a candidate on one of our previous care academies last year.

Kathryn spent time discussing her journey; before, during and after the academy. All valuable knowledge and experience was shared with our current candidates, which will be vital for learning and going forward with the care sector. Kathryn discussed her life, covering all challenges and barriers she has had to overcome, to be the person she is today. Speaking about her experience on the academy, Kathryn described as emotional, soul finding and positive thinking.

Work experience and what to expect from employment in care was also shared and a valuable question and answering session was held at the end.

Our care academy wants to say a massive thank you to Kathryn for her time and for sharing this all important knowledge with our group.

Thankyou Kathryn!
