End of Week One - KDS Induction

Live to max out every day. That has been a very distinct theme in my first week at KDS Group as I settle into a new role. Reflecting back on my first week of induction, it’s been balanced, thorough and has given me a real taste of the core values of the group. The best part has been meeting and getting to know the team. Each one is an individual, each one brings a different skill set and part to play but they all embody the desire to succeed, to engage customers with genuine warmth, to achieve the grade higher than excellent.
There is an unstoppable vision that Stevie Kidd has painted to the group, it’s powerful, it will change lives; and it continues as the next Training Academy starts. Once again the central theme is about people. Last week I saw the selection process, witnessed the effort the Training Team have invested into making this an exceptional experience for everyone invited on the course. There is a consistency to the message that embodies the Group here, but it won’t stop at hearing positive messages and listening to a set of great values, it is lived too. I’m looking forward witnessing a change in these people as they progress through the Academy and there is already a change in me this last week. I feel positive, excited about the future and ready to get going into February. I will max out every day.
