Day 6 as Stevie Kidd's PA/Executive

Today was another first for me as it was the first day of the 23rd training academy at the KDS offices in Paisley. There was a real buzz throughout the office all day and you could tell that the team were really looking forward to hosting the academy. In the morning Stevie asked the whole team to introduce themselves to the academy candidates and although they were all saying that they were looking forward to the day you could tell that there was a sense of nervousness and apprehension. At the end of the day we did the same thing and the atmosphere in the room was completely different. Everyone was chatting and you could tell that they had let themselves go and were starting to really believe that what they were experiencing was completely unique. I loved being part of things today as small a part as it was.

I had a really productive day in terms of getting tasks completed. Stevie and I had a meeting to discuss the best strategy for me to manage the different areas of my role and I am looking forward to putting the strategy into place. I definitely have lots of action points and social media is going to have to be a fast learning curve for me so that I can keep up with Mr Kidd!!

The main thing I took from today is the completely unique approach to everything that KDS do. Another fabulous day.
