Day 6 as a new KDS Trainer

Launch Day WoW! What a day! Today was the launch of Academy 23 and what an incredible day for myself and the candidates! Everyone in the training team pulled together today and we were all determined to make this a successful induction to the launch of Academy 23!

Today was emotional, energetic, motivating and inspiring. I worked with a young girl who had some learning challenges, but you would never have known. During the “Who am I” session, Stevie helped her to gain the confidence to get up and speak in front of the rest of the group. Initially, she was not ready to do this but after Stevie gave her some techniques and before we all knew it she was sharing her story with the group – an amazing confidence boost for her and all on the Academy really encouraged her.

I cannot wait to see how each individual grows and develops including myself, on the journey we are about to embark on during Academy 23. This is truly a unique programme and I am looking forward to day 2!
