Day 4 as Stevie Kidd's PA/Executive
Today was the first day where I felt like I knew what I was doing! Stevie, Andrew and I had a meeting with the Herald to discuss a corporate event that Stevie is running and it went really well. I had been given all of the data beforehand so that I could prepare but I was a little apprehensive that I wouldn’t be able to contribute much but I was able to grasp the context of the meeting well and came away with a really clear picture of where we are on the project and the action points that need to be taken over the coming months.
It was great today because I was pretty much just left to get on with things. The fast pace of the office and the rate that everyone works at is really becoming clear now. Time management is going to be the key to my role and I am learning so much from everyone, I feel very lucky to be learning from such a great team but especially Stevie, he really does invest so much into his employees.
A high point for me today was witnessing firsthand how Stevie’s one on one sessions with people who have challenges in their life really change people. I don’t want to say too much in my blog today but look out for info over the coming weeks!!
