Day 11 of the Academy - The Academy attend our East Renfrewshire Open Day

Academy 23 just continues to surprise me! By now I should have known better, as this group of people are unique. Less than 3 weeks ago, they themselves were waiting anxiously, and some apprehensively at the Renfrewshire Open Day. Now it is a complete contrast they are meeting and greeting people the KDS way, with warmth and sincerity. One thing is for sure each one of them will be remembered at their forthcoming Buddy Day!

I was proud to be leading them today at the East Renfrewshire Open Day. Each one of them interacted with prospective candidates for Academy 24 and encouraged others to participate in something new.

A team effort goes into preparing for every Academy and that includes Stevie Kidd, employability engagement officers, training management, co-ordinator and trainers. Rav will take ownership of the next Academy and I for one am looking forward to her journey.

Tomorrow is Buddy Day for Academy 23 and I have no doubt that they will represent KDS and show their potential to prospective employers! Way to Go 23!!!!!
