Daily Blog in the world of our new KDS Trainer - Day Two

Had a productive meeting with Stevie this morning...I was nervous to begin with although not sure why! Last time I was in there was during my interview so maybe just associating it with the same emotions. I understand what was necessary and what the intended outcome is – HUNT THE CHEESE!!! SO! - I am attending next driver’s meeting on Tuesday next week - Delivering part of the interview skills session tomorrow - Printing off all courses so I can put my own slant on them - Keeping a list of suggestions to discuss with other trainers when we’re all together next Feeling even more motivated now and I am not used to being allowed to take control of my own progression when starting in a new company...the new person is not normally encouraged to be as forthcoming in the first two weeks of starting! Time to step it up a gear!! This afternoon Debbie from Mochriede Care Services came in to the Academy to discuss employment opportunities with the guys and we prepped the guys in advance for this. I shared the morning’s meeting with them and discussed the approach they were going to take – had they e-mailed Debbie? What did they know about the services of the company? What were they going to ask her? What were they going to do after the session?
