Certain things are best done as a team!

In the Academy Award winning film Rocky, boxer Rocky Balboa describes his relationship with partner Adrianna “I’ve got gaps. She’s got gaps. But together we have no gaps!”

This sums up my experience of being a KDS employee in the last 8 weeks! Teamwork is essential within KDS and I firmly believe the key to this lies in our team. We all have a diverse range of skills at KDS and this is what makes us unique. Each member of our vibrant team has a strong work ethic and we apply this to every task and venture we undertake. However, we know we can rely on each other when we come across challenges and this creates a sense of security that I have never experienced within a work setting! We have a productive team with one common goal “to always achieve the grade higher than excellence”.

Teamwork and consideration can create the backbone of a great team. Even a group of superstars in a football team will not succeed if they do not work well as one unit. Therefore think about your team and the impact they have on your professional working life and indeed your home life. You spend the biggest part of your day at your work so do you value those around you and appreciate the effect that your colleagues have on you?
