Another Step towards Global Recognition

Last night as Stevie sat as his computer updating his social media sites he received a truly amazing email from.....the Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg!! 

Towards the end of last year we made contact with his office as Stevie was keen to let him know about the work that he had undertaken helping homeless people in the UK and in New York. In November a charity was founded in New York to help homeless people living on the streets in the city, this charity was inspired by Stevie’s work in the UK.

The correspondence that we sent to the Mayor detailed this and also spoke of Stevie’s learning journey in New York and Boston, this was in 2005 and was a unique opportunity for Stevie to shadow senior people within some of the most successful companies in the world. Bloomberg was one of those companies and Stevie spoke about this experience and how the observations and best practice strategies that he picked up helped him to make big business decisions that have since led to the growth of his own company.

Stevie has always had a global vision for KDS Group and Stevie Kidd People and this email just helps to make that a vision a step closer to reality. We are already in talks with a number of other countries about taking the employability academy model there and working on reducing unemployment figures.

This has been a major boost for the business and we will be working closely with this office to develop a close partnership with the end result being Stevie conducting business in New York.
