Ali G visits our Edinburgh Academy

Day Three of our Edinburgh Employability & Motivation Academy and we kicked off with the wonderful Ali G.

Ali immediately introduced herself to everyone individually and of course the KDS handshake was the start of the first impression that makes all the difference. She then shared a bit about her journey and how even big obstacles CAN be overcome. It’s how you approach it and its each person’s choice to do so.

The group of 14 candidates now were hooked, and listening to every word showing lots of empathy and understanding. Then Ali shared how the KDS culture of the handshake to every person is important both historically and socially and how to make that first impression count.

With a bit of laughter and everyone out and standing up, she shared strategy for building relationships and approaching interviews with confidence. She left with everyone feeling positive and thinking of their own story and how they come across to others.

Ali is an inspiration, she brings a magic and a belief that makes all the difference, the KDS difference.
