Ali G in the Academy!

KDS Superstar Trainer, Ali G, came into our Academy today and despite having been recently ill, she sprung into the room was bright, out going and greeted everyone in turn with a handshake, a smile and used our names.

Ali told us a bit about her recovery from illness and she said how overwhelmed she had been with the support her employers had given in the form of gifts, voicemails, text messages out the blue and visits. We found her very inspirational and is a perfect example of how to look positively on life.

Before she left we told her individually what we thought of her and our use of positive language and power words made her smile and we felt we were inspiring her too! If she can manage to get through illness, then surely we can manage to motivate ourselves to secure our Seasonal Gardener’s job.

Ali left us with a great feeling, so positive and although we had heard about her previously, after she left we had more great things to say about her.

In summary, this week has been varied and unique, and each of us has enjoyed different parts. Bring on week 2!
