Academy Outdoor Event at Auchengillan

This week our 3 Academies and Youth Programme came together as teams and battled the great outdoors through a series of different activities. We were taken out the comfort of our own teams but bonded well with our new teams by the time we arrived.

6 teams carried out 4 activities each, which included teambuilding with a difference, abseiling from a 55 feet height, crate climbing and even a catwalk. We conquered our fears and life phobias of heights, we discovered what it takes to become a leader and a team player, and that we can do anything when we put our mind to it.

Sometimes it takes that little extra push to discover new things and trying something new which we all did.

This was a brilliant experience for everyone who came along! It will wonderful to see all the various academies interact and work together to provide support and encouragement for each other!! Great day! K
