To all the Recruits...

"We are not made wise by the recollection of events in our past but by the responsibility of our future"....

This got me thinking about the recruits nervously awaiting forthcoming exam results. How much time do we spend on worrying, thinking and even trying to re-write events of our past?

When I think about the things that I have worried about or have been anxious about in my life such as interviews, exams, life circumstances, events, I must have wasted days....weeks......months....... of time that I could have spent on other areas that would have been more positive and productive!

Life experience and life events have taught me a valuable lesson! I now accept that there is no point worrying about events that I cannot change. As we mature we learn to deal with things differently, we are better at seeing the bigger picture. We learn that life is far too short to be living in fear of the past, so reflect, evaluate then plan for the future!

So, to all young adults waiting on their exam results, remember YOU hold the key to your future, don’t allow results to hinder your belief, passion and potential to have a successful future!
