53 years unemployment eradicated!
With unemployment reaching a high of 2.5 million, KDS have eradicated 53 years of employment through their latest Academy! In partnership with Renfrewshire Workforce Plus and Renfrewshire Council 32 individuals from the Renfrewshire area secured their roles as Seasonal Gardeners within the Environmental Services Department.
KDS hold partnership working and supporting the local community, and economy, as one of their main values within the business, without partnerships none of what is achieved through the Academy model would be possible. Partnerships with Money made clear, Hamilton Brothers, P+J training, have made this academy a great success. All people within the Renfrewshire region should be thinking about developing partnerships. Whether you are a resident, an employer or a business owner partnership is the way forward. Opportunities will develop if we can get the key people to buy into the partnership model. Renfrewshire Council and Renfrewshire Workforce Plus are at the fore front of partnership development.
Thanks to this “out the box” thinking 32 local individuals now have a new opportunity to not only put some security and structure back into their life’s but also to work within their local communities making public areas safer and more appealing!
32 journeys undertaken, numerous partnerships built, 53 years unemployment eradicated and EVERYONE’s local area improved!!
