Happiness is
Week two starts in the Academy today and the happiness is apparent from all the candidates, and they are now recognising that this is a positive (and de-ageing) state to be in!
That got me thinking, how do we define happiness? A straw poll round the office and academy gave us may suggestions from a having the house to yourself and having some quality "me" time,uninterrupted time with family, an impromptu brilliant night out, having done something well, remembering childhood memories or getting a haircut!
Happiness then, is defined differently by each and everyone of us, however the lyrics "Happiness, happiness, the greatest gift that I possess" ring true! Happiness is the greatest gift we can give ourself and also the greatest gift we can give to others!
So what makes you happy? Let's share our ideas and spread the happiness to many others!

Oh what a week!!
What a fantastic end to a rollercoaster of a week!
Lightbulb moments happened for several on the academy after Stevie's talk about present state to desired state! Johari windows have encouraged truth, honesty and respect amoung the group and a bond has clearly been formed that will last for life! What a different group of people than started this amazing journey on Monday!
Bring on week 2!!!

Powering their way to confidence!
It was a powerhouse of energy on Day 3 of the Academy! Starting the sector specific training with the Role of the Care Worker and looking at reality of the jobs the guys are moving into! Motivation, tackling self-limiting beliefs, positive language and employability were all covered during the day too!!
Great work Team Renfrewshire!!!!
We can see the confidence developing and the power words and positive language really taking effect!
